For me, it’s all about balance, and I think there is room in all of our lives for both ends of that wellness spectrum. I’m just as passionate about teaching or practicing yoga as I am about a really hard, high intensity workout. A plant-based home cooked meal or pizza and beers out on the town. The trick is to find the sweet spot, and in our culture we tend to be extremist…all or nothing.
My approach to teaching fitness, coaching clients, or my personal life is keep it simple and keep it realistic. By starting small and actually listening to the mind body connection we do a much better job at keeping ourselves in a happy homeostasis. As a Wellness Coach, yoga instructor, personal trainer and fitness instructor, my style is to discover where people are, and ever so slightly challenge that boundary, helping every person I work with experience their next level potential.
